Social Media Account Cleanup

We recently had a client wishing to consolidate and clean up a series of social media accounts.  With Facebook privacy concerns in the news, several people have contacted us about eliminating their personal information on Facebook prior to deleting the account.  There are automating tools available to delete some content in bulk, but because Facebook does not want to “lose” your personal information, some sections have to be deleted manually.  If you were a daily user and your account is at least a decade old or more, plan on at least a 5 hour project to safely eliminate your data and close the account.  It does take at least 30 days of inactivity for the account to be closed out once it is cleaned.
