FISHERMANFishing is one of our favorite past times and we don’t get to do it enough.

Ever since I was a child, fishing was part of growing up in Indiana (almost as big as Hoosier Hysteria). Bluegill, bass and catfish were usually the catch of the day by using a variety of baits and artificial lures. Of course, there was always a fish tale to share of the big one that got away. The big ones always seem to get away!

A few years ago, long road trips to Arkansas for a few days of trout fishing turned into an annual Spring event. A road sign there advertised for everyone to “Quit Wishing. Go Fishing” and that “Taking A Client Fishing Was Good Business.”

Therefore, fishing became the inspiration for our latest game “The Trout Family Fish and Swim Adventure.” It’s probably the closest thing to actually sitting on the bank of a quiet pond or stream waiting to catch the big one.

The “Trout Family” is a simple “swimming and jumping” fishing game. Here, you can choose between four different trout characters (blue, brown, rainbow and purple) and jump from one waterfall platform to the next. Players earn points by collecting different types of fishing baits, including worms, flies and crickets. “Kiss” the pink trout for bonus points.

Of course, along the way, players need to avoid fishermen, hooks and rock obstacles; things that trout don’t like in nature while swimming upstream.

There are no additional charges for selecting different trout characters, but players can opt for Kids Mode and can Turn Off Ads. Game Center integration is also available with this game.

“The Trout Family Fish and Swim Adventure” is available in 21 languages/countries.

We hope you’ll enjoy playing this game, which is currently free to download for iPad and iPhone in the App Store.

While we waited for Apple to heal from the security breach, we spent some time freshening some game icons with investments in some better “art” with our delightful artists and have been playing around with making game videos of a couple of our latest games and posting them to YouTube.  Of course this meant we needed to take a look at our Google+ account settings and do some light housekeeping.  This has allowed us to finally finish links on our social media buttons on our website.  Take a look at our new videos!  Our next videos we hope will have personal narration so we can explain some of the back story (and zany jokes) behind the development process of our latest games.

A new game went live this week “The Trout Family Swim and Fish Adventure” and we updated “Splatz and Batz” correcting some feature bugs (no pun intended).  We hope you will play them and share them with your friends.

Check out our new game videos here…
